About The New Policy Institute

Mission Statement

The New Policy Institute is a non-partisan think tank. Our mission is to help Americans imagine and build a 21st century progressivism capable of meeting the challenges of our time.

Purpose

We established the New Policy Institute to implement non-partisan research, education and activities to bring our ideas to the American people.

The New Policy Institute believes that for progressives to replicate our 20th century success in the 21st century, we will need to do three things:

1. Offer ideas and models that tackle the challenges of our time.
2. Master the new media and technology tools that are changing the way people communicate with one another.
3. Understand and engage the new and changing demographics of America.

The New Policy Institute will conduct research and create solutions that address all three of these areas.  We will work to provide insightful analyses and detailed strategies that will help progressives succeed in the 21st century.  We will conduct research in the globalization and immigration arenas, as well as provide intellectual work in the media and demographic space.
